The art form known as Ice Sculpture uses ice as the raw material. They can be abstract or realistic and can be functional or purely decorative. They are  Ice sculptures are generally associated with special or extravagant events because of their limited lifetime. Ice Sculptures have to be carved quickly, and the sculpture should be put in an environment that will allow them to exit as quickly.

All about the Humble Mouse

The humble computer mouse has certainly come into its own since Douglas Engelbart  invented it back in 1964. His contribution changed the way we work with computers. This user-friendly tool has undergone many changes over the years and now comes “ tailess ” with the wireless and laser mouse taking over from the earlier models connected to the computer by cable.

Windows 7 on the iPad? (Maybe They’ll Sell a Few Now)

Much of the disappointment in the iPad lies in its inability to run multiple tasks. I know I don’t have a need for a huge iPhone and after reading loads of bad press regarding the new device, I realize now that many are thinking the same things that I am. However, their may be light at the end of the tunnel for people wanting something with an Apple logo, but with the versatility of Windows 7 (as all Apple fans do).

Windows 7 Build 7700 Screenshots

First screenshots of the post-rtm build 7700 have been published by the Russian news site Wzor. The full build string of the client version is 7700.0.100122-1900 which indicates that it was compiled on January 22. A server version is also available with that build number. This build should not be confused with the builds for the first service pack of Windows 7 as this build will eventually lead to Windows 8 while the service pack builds will lead to the release of the Windows 7 Service Pack.

I spend a lot of time researching for useful tools and hacks on the Internet. One of my favourite web sites is “ How to Geek “. Their website is www.howtogeek.com    You can register with this website and once you subscribe you will receive regular e-mails on a whole range of topics. This site has a lot of useful information on Windows 7 and of course, Vista and Windows XP.   One practical article I came across was entitled “ Add Copy to/Move to on Windows 7 or Vista Right Click Menu “. It described how you can change the registry to include these two commands – Copy to and Move to which are then added to any right-click Context menu.  There was advice how to do this manually hack the Register
